Airborne chemical irritants — solvent vapors, welding fume, cleaning-product off-gas — build up or clear out of a workspace according to a straightforward mass balance between how fast they are generated and how fast air removes them. This 2D build renders the same single-compartment well-mixed model (dC/dt = generation − removal) as a set of four synchronized panels: a top-down floor-plan flow view with a contaminant source and local exhaust hood, a scrolling concentration strip chart, the ACGIH unflanged-opening capture-velocity curve v = Q/(10x²+A) plotted against distance with your operating point marked, and a radial gauge against the reference occupational exposure limit (OEL). Every slider — emission rate, general ventilation, hood flow and source distance — visibly reshapes all four panels at once, and the floor plan supports drag-to-pan and scroll-to-zoom.
