Watch a generative model dream up terrain: drag latent-space sliders (or let it auto-drift) and a domain-warped fractal-noise field builds a 3D world with water, biomes and procedural structures in real time.
This simulation demonstrates how a generative model could plausibly synthesize a whole environment from a compact set of latent parameters. A domain-warped fractal noise field stands in for the learned mapping: four sliders — terrain detail, water level, latent distortion and structure density — are the coordinates of a latent vector, and every change re-samples that function into a fresh 3D world with oceans, biome-shaded terrain and procedurally placed structures. An Auto-Drift mode continuously walks the latent vector along a smooth path so the "AI" keeps generating new realities on its own, while live readouts track land coverage, elevation range and how many structures the current world spawned.
This simulation demonstrates how an AI could potentially generate and manipulate simulated realities. It explores the concept of creating virtual worlds with complex physics, environments, and interactive elements – reflecting advanced generative modeling.
