Ocean Current Data Platform: Sensors, Turbine, Gyre Flow (3D)
The same coverage, turbine-power and forecast-reliability formulas as the 2D dashboard, now driving a genuine 3D ocean: a buoy sensor mesh laid out over the region, satellites sweeping a scan cone overhead, and a current-extraction turbine spinning inside a real rotating gyre-and-turbulence flow field you can orbit around.
This 3D companion runs the exact coverage, turbine-power and forecast-reliability math as the 2D Ocean Current Data Simulation: sensor coverage from buoy count, satellite passes and region area; turbine power from the disk-area formula 0.5·ρ·A·v³; and forecast reliability blended from sensor accuracy and forecast horizon. Instead of number-entry panels, those same inputs now lay out a golden-angle buoy spiral across a real ocean surface, size a spinning turbine rotor whose blade radius comes straight from the swept-area slider (area = πr²), and drive a rotating gyre-plus-turbulence vector field that particles genuinely advect through in three dimensions — slowing visibly as they pass through the turbine's extraction zone. Satellites orbit overhead and sweep a scan cone across the buoy mesh, and a translucent forecast "ghost" trail extends from the turbine with a jitter that widens as reliability drops, making the platform's abstract KPIs into something you can watch happen.
