Double Materiality Matrix 2D: ESG Reporting Simulator

Every company preparing an ESG report under frameworks like CSRD/ESRS has to run a double materiality assessment: score each candidate topic on financial materiality (risk or opportunity to enterprise value) and impact materiality (severity of the company's effect on people and the planet), then report any topic that clears the threshold on either axis. This simulator renders fourteen real ESG topics on a live 2D F-I plane — financial materiality on the x-axis, impact materiality on the y-axis, priority score as bubble size — paired with a ranked priority bar chart, both driven by an adjustable reporting threshold, financial-vs-impact weighting, and a stakeholder-engagement boost that mimics how consultation rounds shift topics into mandatory disclosure.
