This 2D companion to the 3D submarine ballast simulator replaces its fixed flood/blow rates and never-ending air slider with the real physics behind them: flooding and blowing are both modelled as square-root-in-pressure orifice flow (a Torricelli-style law), so flooding genuinely accelerates with depth and blowing genuinely fades as the sea pressure catches the reservoir. The HP-air reserve is tracked as an ideal-gas bank that actually depletes every time you blow a tank, so the "blow depth limit" shown live is a real consequence of how much air is left, not a fixed number. Pitch is likewise upgraded from a smoothed readout to a genuine second-order mass-spring-damper rigid body, so a sudden trim change produces a real lightly-damped oscillation around its new equilibrium. Flood or blow the tanks, watch the reserve drain and refill it, and see depth, pitch and vertical speed respond in a live side-profile cutaway.
