Every energy system built with any spatial extent — a wind farm in the north, a solar array in the south, a power plant far from the city it feeds — pays a physical tax for the distance between generation and consumption: resistive I²R loss in the wires. This simulator models a real 3-phase transmission line between a power plant and a city, letting you set the transmission voltage, the line length, the delivered load and the conductor's resistance per kilometre, then computes the exact current, voltage drop and power lost as heat from the governing equations. Step the voltage from 33 kV up to 765 kV and watch losses collapse by orders of magnitude for the same delivered power — the core reason real grids use step-up and step-down transformers rather than transmitting at generator or appliance voltage directly.
