🔬 What It Demonstrates

Growth rate responds to a combination of factors: soil moisture follows a bell curve (too dry or waterlogged both hurt), sunlight drives visible photosynthesis particles flowing from leaves to roots, and compost adds nutrient density that especially helps poor sandy soil.

💡 Did You Know?

Roots need oxygen just as much as water — in waterlogged clay soil, air pockets disappear and roots can effectively drown, which is why "more water" is not always better for plant growth.
