Bee Colony Synergistic Collapse Simulator
Dial pesticide exposure, Varroa mite load and forage-habitat loss independently on a 3D honeybee colony and watch synergy — not simple addition — decide whether the colony survives diminished or collapses.
A honeybee colony can usually shrug off a moderate dose of any single stressor — some pesticide drift, a manageable Varroa mite count, or a thinner patch of forage — and keep functioning. This simulator lets you dial pesticide exposure, mite/parasite load and forage-habitat loss independently and watch a live 3D colony respond. The combined-stress readout deliberately separates the simple sum of the three individual effects from the actual, synergistic combined damage: push all three dials to only a moderate level at once and the synergy term pushes the colony past collapse, even though the same three levels applied one at a time would each leave it standing.
A 3D honeybee colony where you independently dial pesticide exposure, Varroa mite load and forage-habitat loss, watching a live health readout and a combined-stress bar that visibly exceeds the simple sum of the three individual effects — moderate levels of all three together collapse the colony even though any one stressor set high alone does not.
