A sprayed field slopes down toward a stream, and every rain event mobilises a fraction of the applied pesticide as overland runoff. This simulator renders that field from directly above: droplets leave the sprayed zone, slide downhill, and either get intercepted by a vegetative buffer strip along the stream bank or escape into the water. The strip's trapping follows the exponential vegetative filter strip model used in real runoff mitigation studies — retention depends on strip width and vegetation density together, not either one alone. Drag the field view to pan and scroll or pinch to zoom; live counters and a strip chart of the closed-form retention curve track how many droplets were trapped, how many reached the stream, and the resulting stream concentration as you tune rainfall intensity, spray dose, strip width and vegetation density.
