Fungicide Runoff & Stream Ecotoxicity Simulator (2D)

Simulate fungicide runoff from a treated field into a stream on a live 2D dashboard: a real advection-dispersion-reaction model drives a top-down channel view, a concentration-vs-distance profile and a downstream time series, with a tunable vegetative buffer strip and a live hazard-quotient toxicity readout for aquatic algae.

A treated field, a rain event, a vegetative buffer strip and a receiving stream — this simulator solves the advection-dispersion-reaction equation that governs how fungicide washed off a field actually behaves once it reaches surface water. Pick a fungicide class, an application rate and a rainfall intensity, then watch the plume travel down a scrollable channel view while a concentration-vs-distance profile and a downstream time series make the physics legible at a glance. A live hazard quotient at the monitoring station tells you whether the exposure crosses an acute-toxicity threshold for aquatic algae, and widening the buffer strip shows, quantitatively, how much of that risk a few extra metres of grass actually removes.
