The Kaya identity splits global carbon emissions into four multiplicative drivers — population, GDP per capita, energy intensity and carbon intensity — the same decomposition sustainability scientists and the IPCC use to structure emissions scenarios. This simulator renders each driver as a growing or shrinking 3D bar and multiplies them live into a central emissions tower, so you can see directly whether efficiency and clean-energy gains (negative intensity rates) are outrunning population and economic growth (positive rates) — the exact condition for "decoupling" GDP growth from carbon emissions.
