Lead Smelting Furnace (2D)

2D furnace cross-section: temperature, oxygen blast, coke (reductant) ratio and concentrate grade drive a real Pb extraction/slag-loss formula as concentrate lumps react down the shaft and molten lead bullion separates from slag in the bath.

This 2D companion swaps the 3D version's orbiting factory scene for a plain furnace cross-section built to show the process chemistry directly: concentrate lumps and coke fall down the shaft, react in the blast zone against real oxygen-driven bubbles, and settle into either the bright bullion layer or the amber slag layer above it, with the split set by a live extraction formula — not a fixed animation — so pushing temperature, blast oxygen and coke ratio too far reproduces the diminishing-returns trade-off real reduction smelting shows.
