Sound reinforcement is one of the core jobs of concert production: a rigged line array of speaker cabinets has to cover an entire audience floor evenly, from the barricade to the last row, without blasting the front or leaving the back inaudible. This simulator builds a real 3D line array above a virtual stage and computes an SPL heat map across the audience floor from first principles — inverse-square distance falloff, per-element directivity, and either coherent phase summation (which reveals real interference lobing and combing) or incoherent power summation (the smooth-coverage approximation used at higher frequencies). Adjust element count, downtilt, splay pattern and test-tone frequency and watch the front-row/back-row SPL readouts and the front-to-back coverage spread update live, the same trade-offs a system engineer balances in real array-prediction software before a show.

⚙ Under the hood

Players manage every aspect of a concert production – from band selection and stage design to sound mixing and lighting. The goal is to create a memorable performance.
