UFO Cell Damage Dose-Response Simulator

Interactive radiobiology simulator: test a claimed UFO radiation exposure against the real linear-quadratic dose-response model (S = e^(-αD-βD²)) and a two-proportion z-test to see whether the reported cell damage is statistically distinguishable from the normal background mutation rate — dose, radiosensitivity and sample size all tunable.

Reports of "cellular damage" from an alleged close encounter are testable the same way any radiation-biology claim is: fit the exposure to the linear-quadratic dose-response model that predicts real cell-survival curves, then check whether the resulting damage rate is statistically distinguishable from the ordinary background mutation rate cells show with no exposure at all. This simulator plots the predicted survival curve S(D) = e^(−αD−βD²) against the claimed dose, draws a stochastic sample of exposed and control cells from the resulting probabilities, and runs a two-proportion z-test between them. Adjust dose, radiosensitivity and assay size to see how often a claimed exposure actually clears statistical significance versus how often it is just background noise dressed up as evidence.

⚙ Under the hood
