Organ-on-chip devices recreate a physiological barrier — the alveolar wall, the gut lining, the blood-brain barrier — as two microfluidic channels separated by a porous membrane seeded with a layer of living cells. This simulator models the core transport physics of that setup: a drug is perfused through the "blood" channel, advected downstream by the flow, and continuously diffuses across the membrane into the "tissue" channel following Fick's law, proportional to the local concentration difference and the membrane's pore density. Adjust flow rate, membrane permeability and dose to see how each reshapes the concentration profile along the chip and how much of the drug ultimately reaches the tissue side.
