3D Pediatric Radiosensitivity Cell Population Simulator
3D dosimetry simulator: five instanced tissue-cell populations, from infant to elderly, dividing and accumulating radiation damage at rates scaled by a real age-dependent risk-scaling factor applied to the same claimed dose.
Five instanced tissue-cell populations — infant, child, adolescent, adult and elderly — sit side by side and absorb the identical claimed dose in real time. Each cluster's cells divide continuously, and every division rolls the same age-scaled damage probability used in real BEIR VII / ICRP-style dosimetry: a base linear no-threshold dose-response multiplied by an age-at-exposure scaling factor that is highest for infants and falls steadily with age. Watch the infant cluster accumulate visibly more red (damaged) cells than the elderly cluster at the exact same dose, then use the dose slider to see every cluster's damage rate rise together while their relative gap — set purely by age — stays the same.
Visualize five cell-population grids representing different ages, each showing radiation damage at a rate specific to that age group's radiosensitivity.
