Every spacecraft memory chip lives under constant fire from galactic cosmic rays and solar protons, and every so often one of those particles flips a bit without breaking anything physically. This simulator renders a real SRAM-style memory array as a 3D grid and fires ions through it at a rate, LET (linear energy transfer) and shielding thickness you control, computing the actual charge each strike deposits and comparing it to the array's critical charge threshold. Cells that receive more charge than they can hold flip from 0 to 1, high-LET strikes can spill enough charge into neighboring cells to flip more than one bit at once (a real multi-cell upset), and live readouts track the accumulated bit error rate and measured upset rate exactly as a spacecraft's fault-management software would.
