🌪️ Tornado Core — 2D Vortex Model

A 2D Canvas cross-section of a tornado's combined (Rankine) vortex: funnel width grows with height and humidity, wind shear tilts the core sideways, and a debris field orbits the base — with live EF-category, wind speed and pressure readouts.

This 2D companion drives the same combined (Rankine) vortex mechanic as the 3D version through a plain canvas side-view: funnel width is a power-law function of height and humidity, wind shear tilts the whole column sideways, and a debris field orbits the base at ground level. Live readouts convert wind speed into an approximate EF category and estimate core pressure drop, so the effect of each slider on the storm's intensity is visible immediately.

⚙ Under the hood

2D combined-vortex model: funnel radius scales with height^1.45 and humidity, wind shear offsets the core horizontally, and wind speed drives an EF-scale and pressure estimate in real time.
