Lunar Safety Zone De-confliction Simulator

Place crewed bases, mining operations and science outposts on a 3D Moon and watch their Artemis Accords-style notification safety zones overlap. Real spherical-cap geometry, great-circle conflict detection and an auto de-confliction solver.

The Artemis Accords ask lunar operators to notify their activities and maintain a "safety zone" around them so that nobody's mission harmfully interferes with another's — without the zone amounting to a territorial claim. This simulator renders the Moon in 3D and lets you notify crewed bases, robotic mining operations and science outposts at any point on the surface, each carrying a spherical-cap safety zone sized to its operation type. Great-circle distance checks flag every pair of zones that overlaps, live readouts track total sites, active conflicts and summed zone coverage, and an auto de-confliction solver nudges overlapping operations apart along the sphere's tangent plane until every zone clears its neighbours — the same geometric problem space agencies face when clustering landing sites near the Moon's resource-rich polar craters.
