Before a life-support component ever flies, a manufactured lot has to clear a quality gate: inspect a random sample, count the defects, and accept or reject the entire batch by a fixed rule. This simulator renders a lot of 200 spacecraft life-support components (CO₂-scrubber cartridges, valve seals, filter elements) as a 3D instanced grid, lets you set the lot's hidden true defect rate and an ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-style sampling plan (sample size n, acceptance number c), then draws a real random sample and applies the binomial accept/reject rule live. A running operating-characteristic curve — computed from the exact binomial formula — shows how well the chosen plan separates good lots from bad ones, and a running tally tracks how many simulated lots ship versus go to rework.
