Spacecraft life-support monitoring works through a distributed grid of gas, pressure and temperature sensors that never stop reading. Each sensor is noisy, and every alarm threshold is a bet: set it too tight and normal jitter trips false alarms until crews start ignoring the panel; set it too loose and a real leak goes unnoticed until it is dangerous. This simulator models exactly that tradeoff — four cabin channels stream live noisy readings on a scrolling strip chart, random leak events push a channel's true value into danger, and a sustained-duration dwell timer decides whether a threshold crossing becomes a latched alarm. Tune sensor noise, alarm threshold and the sustained-duration window to watch false alarms and missed detections trade off against each other in real time.
