Every crewed spacecraft cabin is a closed loop: astronauts continuously shed microbial bioaerosols into the air while the environmental control system pulls that air through a HEPA filter and recirculates it. This simulator models the airborne bioburden as a well-mixed first-order compartment — generation rate versus filtered clearance — and renders the recirculation loop as a live 3D particle system whose density tracks the real concentration curve. Adjust crew size, air-exchange rate, HEPA efficiency and cabin volume to see how each one shifts the steady-state contamination level and how quickly the cabin settles into it, or simulate a clogged filter to see contamination climb in real time.
