This simulator runs a real mass-balance model across three life-support architectures — an open-loop expendable system like the one flown on Apollo and Gemini, ISS-style partial closure with water-recovery and Sabatier CO₂ recycling, and a full bioregenerative system that grows part of its own food and oxygen — and turns crew size, mission duration and system efficiency into an actual resupply-mass number and cargo-launch count for each, visualized as three scaled cargo towers, a per-resource mass breakdown, and a draggable station schematic.
