Every crewed spacecraft has to choose a cabin oxygen fraction and total pressure that keeps ordinary habitat materials from sustaining a fire. This simulator renders a habitat test rig with a fabric swatch and igniter, and computes whether a chosen material — cotton, paper, polyethylene wire insulation or fire-resistant Nomex — self-extinguishes or sustains a spreading flame under your chosen oxygen fraction, total pressure and gravity, using a simplified limiting-oxygen-index correlation. Live readouts track the O2 partial pressure, the pressure-adjusted flammability threshold, the safety margin and the modelled flame-spread rate, while the 3D flame itself changes shape between the buoyant teardrop of 1 g and the diffusion-limited sphere of microgravity.
