Antimatter Propulsion Simulator

Interactive antimatter propulsion simulator: watch antiprotons annihilate with matter inside a magnetic containment ring, feeding a magnetic nozzle that collimates the charged-pion exhaust into thrust. Adjust antimatter feed rate and nozzle field strength and watch thrust, specific impulse and antimatter reserves respond live.

Antimatter propulsion is the theoretical ceiling of rocketry: when a particle meets its antiparticle, their entire rest mass converts to energy via E = mc², roughly a thousand times more energy per kilogram than nuclear fission and billions of times more than chemical combustion. This simulator visualizes a magnetic antiproton trap feeding a reaction chamber, where annihilation events fire a stream of charged pions back through a magnetic nozzle to produce thrust — while tracking the same trade-off real mission designs face between feed rate, exhaust collimation and how fast the onboard antimatter reserve is spent.
