Lunar Safety Zone De-confliction Simulator (2D)

2D companion to the 3D Lunar Safety Zone De-confliction sim: the same spherical-cap safety-zone math (Artemis Accords Section 11 geometry, great-circle conflict test, tangent-plane auto de-confliction) rendered as a draggable, zoomable 2D globe projection instead of a WebGL scene.

This 2D companion renders the exact same spherical-cap safety-zone model as the 3D Lunar Safety Zone De-confliction sim through a flat, draggable globe projection instead of a WebGL scene. Notify crewed bases, robotic mining operations and science outposts anywhere on the Moon disc, each carrying a spherical-cap safety zone sized to its operation type under the Artemis Accords' notification-zone logic. Great-circle distance checks flag every pair of zones that overlaps, live readouts track total sites, active conflicts and summed zone coverage, and an auto de-confliction solver nudges overlapping operations apart along the sphere's tangent plane until every zone clears its neighbours. Drag to orbit the globe and scroll or pinch to zoom — the same real unit-sphere vectors and great-circle math drive both versions; only the picture changes.
