2D Audio Equalizer
Interactive 2D spectrum-analyzer equalizer: log-spaced frequency bars driven by a simulated pink-noise spectrum with attack/release ballistics and falling peak-hold caps, like a real hardware VU/spectrum display.
This 2D simulator renders a real spectrum-analyzer-style equalizer: a bank of frequency bars laid out on a log-frequency axis (20 Hz to 20 kHz), each driven by a simulated pink-noise program signal that runs through an attack/release envelope follower, exactly like a hardware VU or spectrum meter. A separate peak-hold cap snaps to each band's maximum and decays slowly, and the frequency axis is labeled so the display reads like a genuine analyzer rather than a generic bar chart. Adjust band count, attack and release speed, program level, switch between log and linear frequency spacing, toggle peak-hold, and pick between a VU-style green/yellow/red palette or a cold cyan gradient.
