A treaty is only as strong as what countries actually deliver against what they pledge. This simulation places negotiating countries around a globe: each COP-style round they file an emissions pledge scaled to a shared ambition level, then either comply or quietly fall short depending on how enforceable the agreement really is. Watch the global temperature anomaly climb, stabilize, or occasionally cool depending on whether ambition and compliance both hold up — the same dynamic behind the gap between the Kyoto Protocol's binding-but-unenforced targets and the Paris Agreement's voluntary-but-widely-adopted NDCs.
