A battlefield casualty-evacuation ground robot has to cross rubble, ruts and uneven cover while keeping an injured passenger stable — a rigidly mounted stretcher would tip and roll with every dip in the ground. This simulator drives a six-wheel UGV along a looping cross-country path over a procedurally rough terrain field, computes the chassis's own pitch and roll from its four wheel-contact heights each frame, and drives four independent vertical actuators to cancel that tilt so the stretcher platform stays level. Toggle self-leveling off to see the same robot with a rigidly bolted platform instead, adjust terrain roughness and carried load to stress the control loop, and watch live pitch/roll, actuator extension and a tip-over stability margin update in real time.
