Legged vs Wheeled: Rubble Mobility

Send a wheeled rover and a four-legged robot across the same procedurally generated disaster-rubble field and watch the wheeled robot repeatedly stall at gaps and loose debris piles while the legged robot picks individual footholds and keeps advancing.

A wheeled rover and a four-legged robot cross the same procedurally generated disaster-rubble field side by side — gaps, steep loose debris piles and loose rock clusters scattered along an identical path for both. Watch the wheeled rover's wheels spin uselessly and halt at gaps and steep piles, forcing a reverse-and-retry, while the legged robot picks individual stable footholds and keeps advancing across the same obstacles. Generate a new randomized rubble field to run repeated trials and build up a running comparison of stuck events and finish times.

⚙ Under the hood

Race a wheeled rover and a four-legged robot across the same procedurally generated disaster-rubble field — the wheeled robot repeatedly stalls at gaps and steep loose piles while the legged robot picks stable footholds and keeps advancing. Live progress, stuck-event counters and finish times, with a new-rubble-field button for repeated trials.
