🤖 Humanoid Robot Walking Lab: Zero-Moment Point and the Linear Inverted Pendulum

Why humanoid robots do not fall over: a generic biped walks on a footstep plan computed by preview control of the zero-moment point (linear inverted pendulum model). Push it and watch the capture point decide between ankle, hip and stepping strategies. Blender-built model, Three.js dynamics.

⚙ Under the hood

A generic biped walks on a footstep plan computed by Kajita-style preview control of the zero-moment point (linear inverted pendulum model); push it and the capture point decides between ankle, hip and stepping recovery. Unlike the existing humanoid and inverted-pendulum labs it is a ZMP/capture-point walking planner with a Blender-built 3D walker, slopes, bumps, push-limit and cost-of-transport experiments.
