🛣️ Lane Keeping Lab: Pure Pursuit, Stanley and the Kinematic Bicycle Model

Two generic cars follow the same lane with pure pursuit and the Stanley controller on a kinematic or dynamic bicycle model. Add steering delay, lane-camera noise, a Kalman filter and low friction, then measure what breaks.

Two generic cars follow the same lane under pure pursuit and the Stanley controller on a kinematic or dynamic bicycle model with a friction-circle tyre limit, steering delay and rate limit, noisy delayed lane measurements and a Kalman filter. Unlike the catalogue's other vehicle and robot-control sims it compares the two trackers side by side on editable paths and measures steady-state circle offset and maximum stable speed against analytic predictions.
