Alcubierre's 1994 metric shows how to carry a ship faster than light without it locally moving through space at all — but the same field equations that produce the contract-ahead / expand-behind bubble also demand a shell of negative energy density around it. This simulator computes that density directly from the metric's shape function, renders it as a live heatmap on the bubble wall, and numerically integrates it into a total exotic-mass requirement that you can compare against the mass of Jupiter, the Sun, or the entire Milky Way. Adjust the bubble's velocity, radius and wall sharpness and watch how fast the requirement grows.
