🕳️ Wormhole Traversal: Travel Speed (2D) — Relativistic Time Dilation
2D relativistic wormhole crossing: set throat length, cruise speed and the acceleration ramp, then watch the traveler's clock fall behind the observer's as γ climbs toward c.
This 2D companion strips the 3D wormhole-crossing scene down to the physics that actually matters: real special-relativistic time dilation. Set the throat's proper length, the cruise speed as a fraction of c, and how long the ship spends ramping up and down, and watch two clocks run at different rates — the traveler's proper time τ and the outside observer's coordinate time t — while a live Lorentz-factor readout, a β/γ profile graph and a clock-divergence chart show exactly why they disagree, and by how much, as the cruise speed approaches the speed of light.
2D relativistic wormhole-crossing lab: a trapezoidal velocity profile (accelerate / cruise / decelerate, always below c) integrated live to accumulate traveler proper time τ against observer coordinate time t via γ = 1/√(1−β²), cross-checked against a closed-form total for the ramp phases.
