A quantum demultiplexer splits a stream of quantum signals into separate output channels based on some physical property of the incoming state. This 2D schematic builds the simplest real example: single photons prepared at a chosen polarization angle strike a tilted polarizing beamsplitter and are randomly routed to one of two channels — H (transmitted) or V (reflected) — with probability set by the Born rule, cos²θ and sin²θ. Watch photons stream toward the splitter, land in whichever channel the quantum measurement selects, and compare the running measured split ratio, the Malus's-law curve and the theory-vs-measured histogram as more photons accumulate.
