🛰️ Satellite Orbit — 2D Gravity Lab

A top-down 2D companion to the 3D Satellite Orbit scene: a real two-body gravity integrator drives the satellite's path, so changing launch altitude, speed, angle or the central body's mass actually reshapes the orbit — circular, elliptical, or an escape trajectory — instead of animating a fixed loop.

⚙ Under the hood

Symplectic-Euler two-body gravity integration in a flat, top-down 2D view: the satellite's velocity and position update each frame from Newton's inverse-square law, so eccentricity, semi-major axis and orbital period are computed live from the actual trajectory, not looked up from a preset.
