🏜️ Sand Helix — 2D Angle-of-Repose Pile Simulator

This 2D companion turns the 3D Sand Helix's orbiting drop point into a real discrete granular-pile model viewed from the side: grains fall under gravity from a point sweeping sinusoidally overhead, settle onto a height field, and that height field is relaxed every step by a genuine angle-of-repose toppling rule (Δh over Δx clamped to tan θc), so the resulting cone or ridge shape is a direct, adjustable consequence of the physics rather than a decorative animation.
