This 2D side-view simulator recreates the classic Mentos-and-cola eruption: drop one or more Mentos candies into a bottle of soda and watch CO2 bubbles nucleate on their rough, pitted surfaces, grow rapidly, and drive a foam fountain out of the neck. Adjust the soda's carbonation level and temperature, and choose how many candies to drop, to see how each factor changes the eruption height, the CO2 release rate, and how quickly the reaction burns through the bottle's dissolved gas.
