🌱 Greenhouse Plant Growth (2D)

A cross-section greenhouse where temperature and light intensity drive each plant's actual growth rate through a cardinal-temperature response curve and a light-saturation curve — not just a fixed-speed animation.

This 2D companion swaps the orbiting Three.js greenhouse for a flat cross-section so the growth math is easier to read: each plant's stem and leaves expand at a rate set by a cardinal-temperature beta function (Yin et al. 1995) and a light-saturation curve, so pushing temperature or light past their optimum visibly slows or stalls growth instead of just changing an animation speed.

⚙ Under the hood

Temperature and light sliders feed real response curves — a beta-function cardinal-temperature model and a rectangular-hyperbola light-saturation curve — that set each plant's growth rate per second.
