Nanorobot Assembly Line 2D: Swarm Fabrication & Quality Control

Interactive 2D nanofabrication line: a swarm of nanorobots places units across a stack of lattice layers, a sweeping QC scanner rejects out-of-tolerance placements, and you tune the throughput/yield trade-off with live error-histogram and yield telemetry.

Industrial nanorobotics is less about single heroic machines and more about coordinating swarms of simple nanobots into a working production line: pick, place, inspect, reject, repeat. This 2D simulator renders that loop as a stack of lattice-layer panels — a fleet of nanorobots claims empty sites across the stack, flies to them, and places a unit with a Gaussian placement error that widens as you push the shared assembly speed up. A quality-control scanner sweeps up and down through the layer stack, flags any unit sitting outside the current tolerance window, removes it, and re-queues the site, while a live error histogram and yield/throughput strip chart trace the same speed-versus-accuracy trade-off real nanomanufacturing lines fight every day.
