Structural biologists and chemists never look at a molecule in just one way — the same atomic coordinates get redrawn in different rendering styles depending on what question is being asked. This simulator takes a single fixed caffeine molecule and lets you switch it between the four styles used daily in tools like PyMOL, VMD, ChimeraX and Mol*: ball-and-stick for connectivity, space-filling (CPK) for true atomic volume, wireframe for fast uncluttered views, and sticks for a clean element-colored skeleton. Rotate and zoom with the mouse to compare how much structural information each style reveals — and hides.
