Prime Editing Outcome Landscape (2D)

2D parameter-space simulator of the prime-editing flap equilibrium: a PBS-length x RT-template-length heatmap of edit probability, a live flap-race bar chart, and a trial history strip, all driven by the same literature-consistent probability model as the 3D pegRNA simulator.

Prime editing writes new DNA sequence directly at a target site without cutting both strands. Rather than animating a single molecule, this 2D companion renders the entire parameter space at once: a heatmap over primer-binding-site (PBS) length and RT-template (edit) length shows predicted edit probability everywhere, a real-time flap-race bar chart shows the 3′ edited flap competing against the displaced 5′ flap during a run, and a trial-history strip accumulates outcomes over many cycles. Tune the PBS length and RT template length, toggle the PE3 non-edited-strand nick, and run editing cycles to see how each parameter shifts the balance between a clean edit, a silent reversion to wild type, and an unwanted indel — exactly the trade-offs prime-editing researchers optimize in the lab.
