🍜 Gastric Emptying and Peristalsis (2D)

A 2D cross-section lab of the same stomach physics as the 3D version: peristaltic waves, retropropulsion grinding, and the pyloric sphincter gate that meters chyme into the duodenum, with a live enterogastric (CCK) feedback loop you can dial up or down.

This 2D companion drives the same stomach-physics model as the 3D version through a flat cross-section view: a traveling peristaltic wave pinches the wall radius as it sweeps toward the pylorus, food particles above ~2mm bounce off the wall and grind down a little on each hit, and only small enough particles get a pyloric passage chance while the sphincter is gated open. A duodenal fat/acid signal builds with every particle that passes and decays over time, and the feedback-gain slider lets you see directly how a stronger enterogastric reflex slows both the wave rhythm and the pass-rate.
