Every telemedicine video consultation depends on the same real-time streaming pipeline as any other video call: packets cross a lossy, latency-bound network, and an adaptive-bitrate player has to pick a video quality that the connection can actually sustain without the call freezing. This simulator models that pipeline with real networking mathematics — the Mathis equation for TCP throughput under packet loss and latency — and drives a simplified ABR algorithm identical in spirit to the ones used by real streaming and telehealth platforms. Adjust the last-mile bandwidth, packet loss rate and round-trip latency and watch packets stream through a 3D network path, the player step between quality tiers, and the playback buffer fill or drain in response, with adaptive bitrate toggleable so you can see exactly why it matters compared to a fixed-bitrate stream.
