Teratoma Formation Risk Simulator
Simulate the growth-vs-clearance race of residual undifferentiated pluripotent stem cells left in a stem-cell therapy graft, and watch a 3D teratoma either get cleared by immune surveillance or cross the clinical detection threshold.
Stem-cell therapies built on pluripotent starting material carry a well-known safety trade-off: any cell that fails to fully differentiate keeps its capacity to divide indefinitely, and a handful left behind in a graft can seed a teratoma. This simulator models that race directly — a residual undifferentiated population grows by logistic proliferation inside a fixed niche capacity while the host immune system clears it at a competing rate — and renders the outcome as a 3D graft bed where a growing red cell cluster either collapses back to zero or pushes out through the clinical detection shell. Adjust the residual pluripotent fraction, the transplanted dose, and immune surveillance strength to see which regulatory and clinical levers actually change the odds.
