First-Pass Metabolism: Extraction Ratio Field
2D companion to the liver-chip / target-chip organ-on-a-chip simulator: the same two-compartment Michaelis-Menten pharmacokinetic model plotted as a live scrolling concentration-time strip chart and a closed-form hepatic-extraction-ratio field over flow rate and enzyme capacity, instead of a rendered 3D chip.
This is the 2D companion to the 3D liver-chip / target-chip organ-on-a-chip simulator, built on the exact same well-mixed two-compartment Michaelis–Menten pharmacokinetic model, but represented as two flat diagrams instead of a rendered microfluidic chip. On the left, a live scrolling strip chart plays out the same liver- and target-chamber concentration ODEs in real time as you inject boluses. On the right, a closed-form parameter field sweeps flow rate against metabolic capacity to show the hepatic extraction ratio directly — the first-pass "filtering" effect becomes a boundary you can see move through parameter space, rather than something inferred from particles flowing past a glowing box.
