Cement Hydration Microstructure Development — 2D Cross-Section & Calorimetry

2D-native cement hydration simulator: a genuine polished-section micrograph of clinker grains evolving under area-conservation (not volume) shrinking-core kinetics, paired with a live calorimetry strip chart of degree of hydration and heat-release rate.

A 2D-native companion to the 3D clinker-hydration simulator. Instead of viewing 3D spheres from a camera, this build evolves a genuine 2D polished-section micrograph directly: clinker disks shrink and swell under area conservation (not the 3D model's volume conservation), so the two give numerically different core radii at identical degree of hydration. A second panel — a live calorimetry strip chart of α(t) and heat-release rate — gives the same Avrami/JMAK-and-Arrhenius kinetics a genuinely 2D, time-series representation the 3D build never shows.
