Medical genetics leans heavily on a very old piece of math: Gregor Mendel's Punnett square. This simulator crosses two parent genotypes for a single gene, draws a fresh generation of offspring every tick by flipping which allele each parent passes on, and tallies the resulting genotypes live. Set both parents to carriers (Aa × Aa) to reproduce the textbook 1:2:1 ratio behind recessive monogenic diseases, or try Aa × aa to see the 50% affected-child risk that genetic counsellors quote to carrier couples.
