Gene Therapy Vector Delivery: Infusion, Immune Clearance & Tissue Transduction (2D)
2D compartmental model of IV-infused gene-therapy vectors: continuous infusion, first-order immune clearance and a target-tissue capture zone, with live circulating count, transduction yield and half-life readouts.
This 2D companion turns the same idea as the 3D version — a viral vector navigating the bloodstream toward a target tissue — into a readable compartmental model instead of a single orbiting camera scene: particles are infused continuously from a venous entry point, drift around a vessel loop at a speed you control, and each one privately rolls its own odds every frame against two competing rates — first-order immune clearance, which can happen anywhere in circulation, and tissue-tropism capture, which only fires while a particle sits inside the highlighted target-tissue arc. Push tropism above clearance and the transduction-yield readout climbs toward saturation; push clearance higher and most of the infused dose is neutralized in transit, exactly the immunogenicity bottleneck that limits real AAV and lentivirus dosing.
One-compartment pharmacokinetic simulation: continuous infusion, per-particle first-order immune clearance, and zone-limited tissue transduction, with live circulating count, cumulative transduction yield and an analytically-derived half-life readout.
