🧪 Technology Mobile Development Simulation
Interactive 3D simulator of a mobile app's constraint-based layout engine: resize the device screen, switch orientation, and watch anchored UI elements resolve their position and size live, with overflow and clipping detection.
Every mobile app has to render correctly on hundreds of different screen sizes, and the way developers solve this is a constraint-based layout engine, not hard-coded pixel positions. This simulator renders a live phone mockup in 3D and runs a real layout-resolution pass over four UI elements — a status bar, a hero image, a text block and a bottom nav bar — each governed by a fixed, percentage, or aspect-locked constraint. Drag the screen width and height, rotate the device, or jump between device presets and watch each element's position and size resolve instantly, with automatic clipping detection flagging any element that would overflow the visible screen — the exact class of bug a mobile developer hunts for when testing responsive layouts across devices.
This simulation explores the development process for mobile applications. Users will learn about UI design, app logic, and basic mobile platform interactions within a simplified 2D environment.
